Artis Single Vineyard Chardonnay 2018

The fruit for this wine comes from a sacred place for Andrew Miller, the site of his Great great great grandfather’s property. A relatively cooler vintage, this bottling is all about representing a sense of place. And so it does, evoking aromas of morning dew and yellow grapefruit segments with elements of golden apple skin and dare I say it but a burst of pure sunshine. It moves and flows like a meandering stream across your tongue and finishes with a pleasant buttermilk creaminess. Drink outdoors dappled in sunlight and marvel at the good in this world.
