Astrale Chianti Riserva 2019

Top level Chianti from a highly regarded vintage, this is serious stuff. Deep garnet hue, there are notes of undergrowth, animal skins, spices, black fruits and licorice. Early complexity is evident with good focus and vibrant acidity. Gentle tannins and like many of the top 2019s from the region, a few more years will provide even greater benefits. Leave this for three to four years and then enjoy over the next six to eight.
