Atlas Adelaide Hills Chardonnay 2024

Share

A lower than average harvest but with Chardonnay fared well, this is a mosaic of flavour. At first glance you can see that the fruit quality was superb. Quince, white peaches and Meyer lemon pulp. Oak stands as support with mace, cumin and vanilla pods but with a gentle grace and stability, allowing fruit to shine. There is some pineapple core on the middle palate and a sandstone fine phenolic texture. The wine finishes with sea salt crystals and almond meal creaminess. Elegant and bound for slivers of swimmer crab on toast points. Drink now or will cellar another 4-5 years.
