Azienda Agricola Boasso Barolo Gabutti 2016

Share

The small commune of Gabutti is one of the most revered in the whole of Serralunga d’Alba. Wines from Gabutti tend to be bold and structured often needing many years before being approachable. This wine has all the promises of great Barolo – leather, dusty earth and herbal florals. The grape and oak tannins are incredibly chalky and dictate the space and feel of this wine. Will easily look its best in 10+ years but if you can’t wait – decant the day before for peak drinking potential, just make sure you have a slab of red meat and a barbeque at the ready.
