A fab little price for a big hearted McLaren Vale Shiraz. Doesn’t ask for any extra time in the cellar, this young ‘un is all about good drinking right now. Aromas of dark berries, plum and chocolate with earth, leaves and some of that good ol’ Vale spiciness. Indeed, when you get to the palate you will find a nice line of black liquorice spice winding its way through the dark fruits and berries and offering a real feature. This Shiraz isn’t about showing off, it’s about good fruit presented well, and being totally ready to go right now. And with its $25 price tag, you could easily make it your regular weekday kind of wine.
