A rollicking flavour sensation from the three Italian amici : Nero d’Avola, Aglianico and Nero di Troia, born and raised in leading vineyards in the Murray Valley (Chalmers) and Riverland (Ricca Terra). Seamless, juicy tannins try to tie down this exuberant red, but the energy is off the charts. Black cherry, black plum, mulberry, liquorice, bay leaf and a dash of white pepper produce plenty of flavour action in one versatile and highly approachable “house red.” This could quickly become a sommelier’s favourite such is its versatility: light to medium bodied, plummy, juicy and tasty and richly cherry infused. And all of this at a tiny price!
