This is an excellent chardie from Victoria’s Beechworth. It’s made with the famous Mendoza clone that has been the mainstay of WA’s chardonnay. It’s tight, crisp and minerally but there’s also a leesy texture through the mid palate. Love that hint of gun flint on the finish with the richer white peach, stone fruit influence providing palate depth.
