Feel the delicacy. It’s there in an engaging scent of white flowers, lavender, lime, green apple and citrus. And on the tongue in filigree-fine acidity. There is a youthful energy at play, and it carries right through the wine. The handy Riesling scale on the back label indicates it’s dry. Indeed, it’s bone dry with mouth-watering acidity which only helps to emphasise the lime, citrus, apple and lemon pithy texture. The overall delicacy is something intrinsic to Mount Barker Riesling and it is beautifully realised here.
