Brown Brothers Patricia Chardonnay 2022

The citrus-zingy characters of the Apple Isle-think Tahitian limes, Meyer lemons, kumquats, mandarins, and pink grapefruits-all squeezed on top of dollop cream, vanilla pods, toasted hazelnuts and grilled Brazilian nuts. The palate equally possesses all the freshness of Tamar Valley, hugged by the power of the full barrel fermentation and the added spiciness from both the whole bunches and oak—that kind of apple and cinnamon tart feeling, if you know what I mean. Extremely fine on the back of the palate, it could have tripped on the winemaking and ruinously rolled down the hill. Instead, it is composedly and graciously walking away on Louboutin high heels.
