Watkins Sauvignon Blanc 2023

Share

Sourced out of a southern Fleurieu Peninsula districts vineyard, where the cooling comes off the Southern Ocean to promote all the right varietal aromatics here, engaging the senses with passionfruit in a creamy feel rather than herbaceous, though there is a short note of tomato bush as well. The fruit lingers neatly in the mouth, nicely balanced acidity assisting, offset with some partial barrel ferment texture to even out the palate feels. Tangy yet evenly tethered, with that tropical passionfruit never letting go.
