The Patricia range is named for matriarch Patricia Brown and her “bold and generous spirit”. That spirit certainly shows up here in a wine that is released with a little age to showcase the complexity that Victorian shiraz can achieve. The aromas are earthy and dense with blackcurrant and blackberry, the comforting scent of baking spices and warm leather. Intensely concentrated on the palate with bright red cherries and cracked black pepper joining the party. The extra time in the cellar offers up seamlessly integrated oak, and round, ripe tannins, finishing with a bright blueberry acidity.
