Brown Hill Fimiston Reserve Shiraz 2022

Destemmed and matured in 20% new French oak for 18 months. A host of black and just verging on blue fruits. Prune plums, black cherries and bilberries. Two tone mulberries interplay with nicely toasted caraway and clove studs. The sweetness of scraped vanilla pods are countered by a freshness of acidity. The wine finishes quite dry and tannins continue to carry flavour and virtue. This is modern crafted Shiraz with great intensity and poise. A fine pairing with Lahm Bil Ajeen or traditional Lebanese lamb flatbreads.
