Cape Barren McLaren Vale Native Goose Cabernet Sauvignon 2020

This McLaren Vale Cabernet is good evidence that warm regions can make delicious Cabernet, even if it is different to a typical Cab from the cooler districts. Different is not always worse. Inky maroon hue, the nose offers bay leaves, chocolate, warm earth notes, tobacco leaves, mocha, and blackcurrants. Great focus and excellent length with intensity maintained. The palate sees coffee bean notes carried by silky tannins. Very attractive drinking now, and for the next seven or eight years.
