Inky purple here, with notes of blackberries, plums, chocolate, coffee grinds, soy and bay leaves. There is a hint of vanilla, from impeccable oak integration plus excellent balance and length. This retains both concentration and elegance and will surely improve – expect the score to do likewise – sky is the limit here. This will provide pleasure for at least the next eight to ten years.
