From the cool alpine mountains of Italy’s Trentino region comes a warm-blooded and welcoming young red. Brings some savoury punch to the glass and the table with its blackberry and cherry fruit, cinnamon and vanilla spice and cedary oak lifted by earthy, savoury tannins. At its heart is a core of crushed herbs that brings that extra level of flavour interest. Are they alpine herbs? Taste it and see. There’s a generosity here nicely balanced by the Teroldego’s naturally bright acidity.
