Chapel Hill The Vicar Shiraz 2020

Share

Opens with a thoroughly beautiful aroma of plum and prune with a lift of violet. Beneath you find other notes of licorice and mocha. The palate is firm and opulent with a tight core of tannin and tightly grained oak, yet the sweet fruit of McLaren Vale Shiraz gradually reveals itself. The aim is clearly to capture and not compromise the sweet, delicious characters of McLaren Vale fruit, adopting a largely gentle winemaking approach before it heads to oak for 22 months.
