Château Tanunda Eden Valley Chardonnay 2023

Share

Chock full of flavour that transcends the usual, more fine-featured Eden Valley Chardonnays. In many ways it is riper and richer than what you might expect, with a good splash of toasty oak and an almost savoury yeastiness complimenting warm white peach, citrus, baked quince, nougat and buttery flavours. Barrel fermentation and eight months maturation in new and seasoned French oak makes their mark, combining the subtlety of cool climate citrus and stone fruit with some added oak-complemented oomph. Attractive florals bring lifted notes. Lacy acidity keeps everything in place.
