Château Tanunda The Château Barossa Grenache 2023

Share

Unmistakable Grenache nose of red fruits and brambly wild mountain herbs with white pepper and spice. Sourced from a single vineyard and picked ripe, drinkers will be hard pressed to decide whether to enjoy now or later. Either will be accommodated. There is an openness and friendliness on the palate delivered in earthy, red fruited tones with aromatic spices and plenty of life. The vanillin, dusty cacao influence of oak is noted, but in no way is it a major distraction. Close knit tannins serve the wine well for the future.
