Château Tanunda The Château BV Grenache Single Vineyard 2024

The team source fruit from a vineyard close to the Château for this single vineyard Barossa Grenache. They employed partial whole bunch fermentation and then maturation for a year in older French oak puncheons. Pale russet in colour, the nose gives us notes of strawberries and raspberries, florals, dried herbs and dark cherries. Juicy acidity here which runs for the full length. The wine is balanced with fine tannins, even if a tiny bit gritty. The finish has serious persistence. For enjoying over the next six to eight years.
