Château Tanunda The Everest Barossa Shiraz 2023

The fruit for this exceptional wine comes from low-yielding vines. It’s treated carefully from go to whoa, with time on skins in open fermenters and then regular hand plunging to ensure that the tannins integrate perfectly within the vibrant spicy red fruits. It shows that Shiraz doesn’t have to be a monster. It can still deliver wonderful complexity and flavour intensity with lower, lighter body, and this is a perfect example. It’s juicy, it’s delicious, and it has plenty of years ahead.
