Malbec loves a dry and warm climate as is seen in the deeply flavoured wines from Mendoza in Argentina, so it should be well suited to the Barossa Valley. This wine looks like a classic Malbec from start to finish. It is very deeply coloured which is then followed by inky, sweet and ripe blueberry fruits. In the mouth the wine is explosive and juicy with plush blackberry jam primary fruits plus touches of earth, spice and meat. It’s big and bold with soft tannins so best enjoyed young.
