Claymore One Lovely Day Shiraz 2022

Share

Clare Valley Shiraz at its best has a regional stamp that captures an Australian forest like aroma on top of mostly bright reddish fruits, here crunchy early season plum – Satsuma comes to mind. There’s some mint, a deft amount, some oak spice, also nicely tempered, with a black pepper like seasoning in the finish. Plenty of flex where this can play its best game: casual snacking to heftier braises are all on the radar. You won’t go wrong.
