Cloudbreak Adelaide Hills Limited Release Chardonnay 2022

Love the stumpy bottles. Surely they’ll catch on, at least to an extent. The wine, from the Adelaide Hills, is fully barrel fermented with partial malolactic fermentation, producing just 1,800 bottles. Deep yellow, the nose gives us nuts and honeycomb with peaches and mandarin notes. Good concentration and a line of acidity, the wine is of medium length. An intriguing style for drinking over the next five to six years.
