Connor’s Farm Cabernet Sauvignon 2018

Share

Connors Farm is a range of wines created by Mike Farmilo, ex-Penfolds winemaker and in a short time have gained a reputation for generosity of fruit and their easy-drinking style. This Fleurieu Cabernet follows the wines before it with its ripe and powerful fruits. It is deeply coloured and then has fruits of mulberry and blackberry jam plus a clear edge of dried and green herbs, thanks to well ripened Cabernet Sauvignon fruit. It is then dry, concentrated and even a touch earthy and savoury with layers of rippling fruit supported by supple tannins. A good winter red for sure with the stamina to match lasagne.
