Wynns Coonawarra Harold Cabernet Sauvignon 2018

Share

I’d love to see a tasting of all the Wynns Single Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignons over the years, to see all their different personalities shine through. They always show a completely unique side to Wynns, far different to Black Label or the icons. This vintage is one of the better releases and screams of classic Coonawarra Cabernet with its pure and precise aromas of sweet cassis, mint and cedar with balanced oak. The warm 2018 vintage has lead to a rich and ripe palate for Coonwarra, although still immaculately balanced, with fleshy fruit underscored by plenty of chewy tannins. This is crowd-pleasing Coonawarra at its best, and will also age well, although is already ready to drink.
