Cook’s Lot Sauvignon Blanc Allotment 689 2025

Sauvignon Blanc from the Orange region in New South Wales, this has proved exceptionally popular in wine shows with a couple of trophies amongst the bling already accumulated. No surprise, as it is a very fine Savvy. There is simply no hiding from the aromatics. The colour is pale lemon, but the nose is almost overwhelming with tropical notes, extensive passionfruit aromas, along with hints of orange rind, mango and citrus. The flavours all combine to a lengthy finish, along with a fine line of acidity and a touch of salinity. Certainly, it can be enjoyed anytime over the next two to four years, but the question would be why not now. Excellent value.
