A touch old school Barossa Grenache, but there is a lighter, brisk feel to it. Dark fruits, dark spices fill the aroma with a woodsy, earthy feel to it. Brings it all to the glass, a big mouthful of ripe Grenache, upfront and punctured in spice – clove, cinnamon, allspice – with a fungal, earthy savouriness that runs strong to the finish. Tannins maintain a good energy.
