Crabtree Watervale Semillon 2023

Only made in top years in the Clare, and 2023 is certainly that, the fruit comes from a vineyard in Watervale, very close to the estate. No oak here with only 110 dozen made. A lovely pale straw colour, this is fragrant and lifted. Spices, guava, apples, pears and herbs here, as well as a touch of the tropicals. This is balanced, clean and fresh. An ideal light seafood style, the wine has decent length. Enjoy it any time from now for the next two to four years although don’t be surprised if it actually ages for considerably longer.
