The Pipers River coast on Bass Strait is one of the coolest sites for pinot noir in Australia, which is why it also creates spectacular sparkling wines. In the middle of Summer it can still be jumper weather which gives the pinot noirs their own unique and fragrant style.
Made with 100% Pipers River fruit, this is a lightly coloured and delicately framed pinot with a pretty array of spicy, stalky, potpourri aromas over layers of dark cherry and subtle oak. Light weight, it delivers a spicy, pure and silky palate of red and floral fruits with a long, ethereal finish. Delicious now but even better in two to three years.
