Chester Osborn adopts a largely traditional approach here with basket pressing, time on lees, no racking, and no fining or filtration at bottling. You are getting a pretty clear window into the region and the variety. Dark fruits with a red fruit lift merged with dark chocolate, sage bush and lightly savoury notes. The palate is seamlessly structured but with depth and intensity delivered with effortless ease to a long finish.
