A single vineyard wine sourced from one of Bethany’s highest vineyards at 300 metres. It is an unabashed and proud Barossa Shiraz with a modern take, courtesy of a higher presence of some scintillating spice which runs the distance of the wine from go to whoa. The spice – cinnamon, clove, aniseed and pepper – brings a real freshness, a liveliness and lift to the ripe black fruits, blueberries and plums. Oak is well integrated, offering a complimentary partnership for the fruit, working hand in hand with fresh, fine tannins. Good depth and overall balance here. Should age well.
