A silver medal wine at the 2019 Royal Hobart Wine Show, and for good reason. From the brilliant 2018 vintage in Western Australia, this chardonnay shows toasted and crushed nuts on the nose, alongside yellow peach and apple skins. The palate is pure with standout texture – both polished and slippery at the same time. The flavours on the palate are consistently fine, unwavering in their expression of stone fruit, spice, and all things nice. There is a squeeze of fresh vanilla pod and is that grated nutmeg? Beautiful. Cracking value at $22.
