Delamere Rosé 2016

Deep tea rose hues. A lovely richness of aroma gives rise from the glass in dusty, wild strawberries, cherries, dried raspberry, toasted almonds and almond meal. Complexity is immediately apparent from the first sniff, the first taste, with a lovely depth of flavour on show matched to a fleshy, mid-palate presence and length. The palate is multi-layered with some arresting savoury notes: grilled nuts, macaroon, marzipan, almond with hints of acacia, wildflowers, biscuit built around a solid core of red berries. Boasts real drive and, in its tenth year, is looking mighty youthful and bright.
