Paisley Turntable GSM Barossa Valley 2022

Derek, one half of the current custodians, had a love for dance party and techno music (I am assuming the latter is not an oxymoron) in his younger days, hence the name. But we are here for the wine and it is doing some singing and dancing of its own. Deep garnet/red, the nose is exhibiting good concentration with notes of plums, black fruits, smoked meats, cocoa powder, cloves, and bay leaves. The structure is seamless, the texture supple. There is fine acidity and everything is in balance. Good length and noticeable tannins, but they are of such a silky nature that they cannot but help appeal. Enjoy over the next six to eight years.
