A basket of fuzzy peach, cantaloupe and grapefruit, this crackles with some sparkler flint and the toasting of campfire marshmallows. A generous ray of sunshine is then countered by the cooling of Tassies frigid nights, the wine drinks with ease. Juicy orchard apples, lemon juice and an oatmeal oak spice. Nutmeg and powdered cinnamon sneaks in but it’s lifted and elegant, with a clean grapefruit flesh finish. If you are drinking now go for battered dory and well made tartare sauce but give it 3-5 years and this is cheesy lobster mac and cheese heaven.
