No doubt the first thing you’ll notice about this wine is the colour: opaque yet vibrant with a purple hue. The next thing is the nose: vivid notes of red, black and blue fruits, with some chocolate, earth and dried fruits from a bit of bottle age. On the palate there’s still a truckload of tannin, but if had with some food or after a double decant, it’s well under control. It’s still at the very beginning of its journey, so give it a few years to show its best.
