Driftwood Artifacts Cabernet Sauvignon 2021

 Margaret River Cabernet is always a winner, this is a heavily dominant Cab, but also includes 4.5% Petit Verdot. The wine spent a year and a half in a mix of new (23%) and older French oak. Purple/maroon in colour, this is a fresh style with notes of tobacco leaves, chocolate, blackberries, soy, aniseed, dry herbs, cloves and a hint of campfire. Coffee beans continue to emerge more on the palate in an elegant style with good focus. Impressive length with sleek tannins. Enjoy over the next six to eight years.
