Eisenstone SV904 Roennfeldt Vineyard Shiraz 2019

Share

Roennfeldt is another revered name in the Barossa thanks to its importance in the wines from Greenock Creek. This is bursting with embryonic dark fruits – liquorice allsorts, kirsch and black pepper aromas with some local baked earth and sweet oak. That dark heart continues on the palate with a full-bodied style that is both fleshy and tannic with hints of ironstone and roasted meat on top of dark berry fruits. It’s muscular but also has the fruit to back up what is quite a dense structure as well as a long finish. It’s very good and will get better.
