Elderton Eden Valley Riesling 2025

Share

This very dry winter and growing season presented some challenges. But in the end, careful vineyard management ensured that the wines from the Eden Valley presented well. This has that spicy and slightly chalky character you might expect from the Eden Valley, with florals and a sort of limey character adding to its complex aromatics. The crunchy palate is dominated by a limey grapefruit influence and that fine pebbly minerality. It’s a wine of some tension and tightness, which is, of course, Eden Valley, but it will continue to evolve with reasonable cellaring time.
