Flake salt, lime pith, lime juice, elderflower and whiteboard chalk. This Frankland River Riesling is zingy and refreshing, and reminds me of drinking margaritas in the sun. The palate has plenty of texture and generosity, tasting of yellow grapefruit, lime (shocking, I know), and salty pear candies. The acidity is bright and linear, and the finish is pithy. I think we should all drink more wines like this. Drink with Mexican food. Sombrero optional.
