Five Vineyard Plenty Region Estate Shiraz 2022

A single vineyard Shiraz from the Plenty region in Victoria, this is the first release of this wine. The wine spent ten months maturing in older French oak. Maroon in colour, the wine has a most attractive nose weaving through notes of tobacco leaves, black fruits, chocolate, soy, beef stock, leather and aniseed. This is beautifully crafted with excellent oak integration. Showing impressive length and sleek tannins, the palate sees the emergence of more and more chocolate notes. A most attractive Shiraz from a cooler climate than most. Enjoy over the next ten to twelve years. Fabulous value.
