A tantalising wine from first aroma to last drop in the glass. The back label reads for ‘immediate enjoyment’ and you don’t need to tell me twice. It’s nashi pear, white peach schnapps and apple danish. There is some classy seasoned oak that shows through in beeswax, almond nougat and cumin spice. Plenty of sliced pineapple and a slippery, almost saline finish. It’s crisp, crunchy and snappy with perky acidity and some creamy milky tones on the finish. Excellent value, this sits very comfortably indeed as a wine you’ll try once and buy multiple cases of when you see it again. Drink now and will cellar for another 3-4 years. Perfect with a crumb chicken schnitzel.
