A multi-dimensional Sauvignon Blanc for serious drinkers. This wine’s understated beauty could be easily missed. Not by me though. Lemongrass, yuzu and sea spray. Nothing dialled up, but everything is detailed. In the mouth, the acid provides a frame, the mouthfeel is slightly creamy and the fruit precise. There’s a line of ever-so-gentle gunflint and crushed slate that’s hard to see, but once found, brings further joy and complexity. This is a very delicious and well-made wine..
