Lemon-gold colour, with a measured aromatic intensity, leaning toward a fruit-forward, early-drinking style characterised by an unpretentious mix of Meyer lemon, pink grapefruit, yellow peach, fresh cream and vanilla bean gelato. Don’t get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with that, especially if the intent is easy, midweek drinking (and God knows we need that!). The palate follows through on that creamy, stone-fruit profile already signalled on the nose. As mentioned, this is all about immediate drinking pleasure and carefree satisfaction.
