This is a pretty smart Chardonnay for this price. And it’s been made by winemaker Matt Harrop, who was well known for his time with Curly Flat. The fruit is sourced out of the Strathbogie ranges in the King Valley, so it’s a cool climate Chardonnay. And it’s been partially barrel fermented with just a gentle touch of oak. So, it’s bright with a slightly creamy textured palate feel and a nice lingering finish. It’s an excellent wine and certainly great value at this price. ALDI exclusive.
