Fox Creek Limited Release Nero d’Avola 2022

This Sicilian variety works so much better when a little of the heat comes off it. In other words picked to achieve an alcohol of around 14% alc/vol rather than the traditional Aussie level of 14.5. I know it doesn’t sound much but it makes all the difference. It allows the beautifully seductive lifted fruit aromas to express fully while losing nothing in palate poise and presence. This is so vibrant with its medium body providing pure drinking joy. Worth a serious look.
