The Nero has a relatively light touch on opening which becomes fuller as it breathes. There’s some luscious red cherry and raspberry fruit, plus some savoury rhubarb and chocolate, with a touch of gaminess, which dissipates with air. On the palate, there’s great fruit sweetness and brightness, and the wine definitely benefits from decanting.
