Houghton Thomas Yule Shiraz 2022

Share

Thick glass and imposing packaging celebrating  Thomas Yule, pioneer of Houghton. Bruise purple. Base, earthy aromas of roast beets and turned sods. Framed and edged with raspberry and red currant highlights, plum sauce, kid glove leather, ferrous stone, vanilla bean and a little animalistic ‘empty shearing shed’ echoes. Effortless flow with supple and fine tannin that belies the intensity and power. A wine of balance and elegance which underscores its position as a marquee example of Great Southern Shiraz.
