Colour is deep and almost opaque. The aromas assail with a heady dark chocolate and black fruit combination, and even some subtle savory-ness. The palate is soft, supple, and quite generous, cramming stacks of ripe Barossa fruit into its structured format. There’s a delicious mocha, ground coffee, and dark fruit combination on the palate. Impressive wine.
