This excellent example of the regional style opens with a hearty serve of cherry compote and volcanic earth with meaty tones and underscored by a firm French oak backbone. A dense, muscular style, with serious weight of tannins and excellent volume of flavour that builds through to a strong finish. Excellent ageing potential.
